Montana Alexander is a Partner with Heather James Fine Art, and is based between New York City and Connecticut. She heads the sales network of Heather James galleries worldwide as well as managing company-wide strategy, while continuing to advise her group of major collectors.

Montana has most recently placed major paintings by Ed Ruscha, Claude Monet and Mark Bradford with private collectors. She has been with Heather James since 2013, and has driven our significant expansion from two regional galleries into the global art market. Among several other major consignments in the past, she secured a large group of Post-War and contemporary art from the General Electric Company Corporate Art Collection, as well as The Paintings of Sir Winston Churchill for our 2018 travelling exhibition. Montana received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut in Art History and Business Management and completed Sotheby’s Institute’s Art Business post-graduate program in New York.

Julia Jackson is based in New York and Connecticut. Since joining Heather James, she has secured consignments and helped build notable private collections with important artists, including Alexander Calder, Richard Diebenkorn, Camille Pissarro, Alfred Sisley, Robert Motherwell, William Baziotes, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, and Tom Wesselmann. Julia received her B.A. from Rollins College. She is a Junior Associate at the Museum of Modern Art and a member of Soho House.
